Spring Cleaning Part II

Remember this post?  Well I wanted to write up what I’ve done so far and how my progress is going.  This post will be about my daughter’s closet.

I wanted to start cleaning up my daughter’s closet, so only half of her stuff occupies it.  That way when the time comes to have both siblings share a bedroom, it’ll be easier on me.  Below are before and after pics of the closet in her bedroom:

I plan to remove my wedding gown on the right, the red sailor dress on the left (which is actually mine that I got from my grandparents when I was 9), and 2 boxes of my daughter’s clothes that no longer fit her out into the garage.  I need my hubby’s help for this since I can’t carry heavy items anymore.  That’s why they ended up still in the pic.

I got these pink velvet lined hangers from Amazon.  I love them!  They are thin (take up less space) and make the closet look a lot organized since the hangers are all the same.  Also, pants and none of my daughter’s dresses slip out or fall anymore.

This is the exact box of hangers I got.  The kids hangers actually can fit 12 month onsies too.  I even got a box of blue ones for my baby boy.  Will hang his clothes up when I get them from my sister.   My sister is super excited to dump give me her son’s clothes.   She wanted to give me her son’s clothes the minute she found out I was having a boy…what a great Aunt right? ;-)
