It’s Monday and I thought I should share with you an easy delicious dessert. I made this for my son’s 1st Birthday Party.   I got this yummy recipe from Love from the Oven.  I just used store bought frosting due to time.  I do want to make my own frosting one of these days, maybe I’ll make them again for Valentine’s Day.

This recipe is SOOO easy, all you really need is your favorite brownies box mix, the simplest one is the best.  I never knew how many type of brownie mixes were there until I went out to buy for one. Lol!  I ended up getting the same brownie mix as Christi from Love from the Oven.

After you followed the directions from the back of the box, the next step is to crush some Oreo cookies.  Like Christi, I used half of the package.  I simply put the Oreo cookies in a gallon Ziploc bag and began to pound them until they were perfect size for Push Pops.

After you thoroughly mix the oreos into the brownie batter you simply put the batter in a pan and bake according to the back of the brownie mix box.  After baking,  take them out and let them cool for 30 mins.  It’s now time to cut out some brownies for your push pops!  I just used the top of one of my empty seasoning jars as my brownie cutter.

After you cut out your brownies, place them in your push pops.

The next step is putting frosting. Place the Betty Crocker Whipped frosting into a Ziploc bag and  cut one of the ends of the Ziploc bag to create your own piping bag.

I carefully put frosting in each Push Pop followed with a sprinkle of crushed Oreos.

I repeat with another layer of brownie, frosting, and crushed Oreos.  After your second layer of brownie, frosting, and crushed Oreos you are done!

How easy was that?  Some of the people at the party thought I had these Oreo & Cream Push Pops specially ordered.  I love serving dessert in these Push Pops, you can really impress your guests with them!  You can see other fun Push Pop desserts from Love from the Oven. Christi managed to inspire me to make my own Push Pops for my son’s 1st Birthday Party.  I hope she will inspire you to serve some at your next party!
